Mia mamma racconta che da piccola cantavo e fischiavo a squarciagola. Tornando da scuola lei mi sentiva rientrare già da lontano...! :-)
La passione del canto, quindi, l'ho avuta sin da piccola; ma mai avrei pensato di cantare in una band!
In età scolastica suonavo il flauto. Ero brava. Ma il tempo era sempre poco e quindi smisi di prendere lezioni. Almeno ora avevo una preparazione di base della musica. Quest'ultima mi è stata di gran vantaggio quando ho iniziato a prendere lezioni di canto, insieme a Doris, dopo aver formato la band. Sono un mezzo soprano e la mia voce si sposa bene con pezzi rock, blues e soul - stili di musica che mi piacciono molto, oltretutto.
Per fare musica ci ritroviamo solitamente a casa nostra. Per le registrazioni, invece, con alcune eccezioni, preferiamo andare in Italia dove abbiamo a disposizione la mansarda (vedi alcune foto nella sezione Gallery).
Così non disturbiamo i nostri vicini, che ci "sopportano" quando ci ritroviamo per fare le prove... 😉

I have been passionate about singing since I was little; but I have never dreamed of being part of a band!
While in elementary school I took recorder lessons. I was good. But time was always little so I quit. At least I now had basics in music. That has been beneficial when I started with singing lessons with Doris, a little while after we had formed our band. I am a mezzo-soprano and my voice matches with rock, blues, and soul – after all, these are music styles I like best.
Normally we meet in our apartment for rehearsals. For recordings we prefer to go to Italy, with a few exceptions, where there is the attic waiting for us (see some pictures under Gallery). Our neighbors will therefore not be disturbed. They only have to put up with us for our rehearsals … 😉
